In the role of Specialist Business Service Support, you are responsible for providing the best possible customer communication and service. You will proactively recognize emerging challenges and develop a proposed solution for them.

 

In the area of cashless payment at the cutting edge, you will help shape the operation of our application landscape.

 

 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities​

  • Controlling and monitoring of the quality of the application and systems in terms of end-to-end processing of our business services
  • Development and implementation of procedures and tools for application monitoring based on Splunk
  • Analyzing, localizing and communicating incidents, coordinating solution finding and elimination, initiating escalation mechanisms
  • Identification and elimination of weak points and optimization requirements in existing processes and systems
  • Assuming specialist responsibility and ensuring know-how transfer for individual applications
  • Performing a periodic on-call service
  • Involvement in the emergency organization and projects of the IT Operations Division
  • Participation in projects and programs of the IT Operations Division

 

 

Who Are We Looking For

  • Completed education in information technology related field or equivalent/higher education
  • Professional experience in a comparable function is a plus Knowledge of data analytics as well as service management according to ITIL Experiences in recording and documentation of IT landscapes and IT architectures as well as in application management are an advantages
  • Application and Business Monitoring skills in Splunk are a plus
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Team orientation with strong customer and service orientation
  • Structured and solution-oriented approach with high quality standards
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
