SMB Central Partner Solutions Engineer ( M/F/D)

We are seeking a skilled Solutions Engineer to join our SMB Central Partner Team. In this strategic role, you will play a vital part in acquiring new partners serving the SMB market by demonstrating the technical value of Worldline’s solutions. Your expertise will streamline the partner sales process, enabling our team to scale efficiently and drive significant revenue growth with a curated group of key partners. You will be responsible for enabling Worldline partners and the SMB partner team.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities​

 

Technical Solutions Development:

  • Develop and tailor comprehensive technical solutions for complex partner accounts, effectively communicating the technical advantages of Worldline to attract and secure new partnerships.

 

Partner Enablement:

  • Act as a trusted technical advisor in partner-facing engagements, establishing credibility and building strong relationships with partners and internal stakeholders in product and technology.
  • Collaborate with the partner team to identify and explore new business and upselling opportunities, ensuring technical solutions meet partner requirements.
  • Deliver compelling presentations on Worldline’s product and service capabilities, collaborating with the central SMB partner team to engage a diverse audience of stakeholders.
  • Provide support to partners with relevant proof of concepts and empower them to utilize our suite of tools, such as sandboxes, for self-service.

 

Consultation and Industry Best Practices:

  • Assess and understand new partners' business models to implement the Worldline suite of products, driving revenue growth sourced from partners.
  • Conduct UX and checkout optimization analyses, advising partners on strategies to create seamless customer experiences and enhance transaction efficiency.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in Worldline products and market trends, offering feedback to product teams to ensure alignment with partner and market needs.

 

Who Are We Looking For

We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change, step up and show what’s next – people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice this means:

 

  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in technical pre-sales or solutions consulting within the e-payments or fintech industries.
  • Strong communication skills, with a proactive approach conducive to negotiations and decision-making.
  • Proven experience in presenting complex technical solutions to diverse audiences, including technical and non-technical senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate efforts across cross-regional teams, including product development, sales, and onboarding.
  • A degree in computer science or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in the internet/e-commerce industry, with a solid understanding of Payment Service Provider (PSP) environments being advantageous.
  • Fluency in English, with proficiency in additional languages considered a plus.
  • Willingness to travel across Europe.
