The Opportunity

We manage complex systems for the real-time approval of credit card transactions. You will work with our clients to design the payment systems of the future. These services are characterized by high quality and availability, combined with innovation.

This position offers a high level of creative freedom and challenges in planning and implementation, as well as ongoing application management. In this process, you will learn many disciplines of system development, allowing you to grow as an expert.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Being an IT Business Analyst for a specific instance of our software "Worldline Pay Front Office," which manages the Authorization and Switching of electronic payments.
• Acting as an expert for the instance both internally and externally and being the main contact for requests related to the specific instance.
• Working closely with product management, software architecture, and management to create a product that fits within the company portfolio; Managing stakeholders and their expectations.
• Developing the scope and defining backlog items (epics/features/user stories) that drive the Agile software development team.
• Supporting the Agile team with story estimation and sequencing; Building and maintaining the team backlog.
• Defining and validating acceptance criteria (based on the Definition of Ready and the Definition of Done) and evaluating the sprint outcome based on this; Participating in team demos and retrospectives.
• Ensuring that the conceptual and technical integrity of Product Features is maintained at all times; Training and educating other team members.
• Configuring the platform using SQL; Acquiring and maintaining a solid knowledge of the technologies used to develop our products.

Who Are We Looking For

• A minimum of 4 years of work experience in IT services and software development, preferably in the electronic payments sector.
• Good working experience in a complex and international environment.
• Experience with Agile (scaled) frameworks (LeSS, SAFe, etc.) and/or DevOps.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams to achieve a common goal and in dynamic situations with tight and rigid deadlines.
• A structured and analytical work approach with strong presentation skills.
• Strong team player with the ability to listen and communicate equally with all stakeholders and team members.
• Knowledge of Linux as a user, ability to read C++ code for analytical purposes, and the ability to read and write in SQL, along with basic scripting capabilities.
• Experience with Cloud Environments and/or Cloud-based Applications is a plus.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory.
