The Opportunity

Join our dynamic Mobility & e-Transactional Services (MTS) division as a Business Controller, where you'll oversee financial operations for our German and Austrian scopes whilst managing a multi-country business unit spanning Germany, Austria, Belgium, and France. This role offers the perfect blend of local financial stewardship and international business unit management in our fast-growing IT services environment.

 

 

 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities​

 

Germany/Austria Local Controlling

 

  • Serve as the Local Controller for Germany/Austria, preparing monthly revenue and cost forecasts, staffing plans, and managing month-end closing activities to support timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Generate and deliver regular financial reports to business partners, addressing routine and ad-hoc information requests
  • Perform profitability analyses to facilitate strategic decision-making
  • Ensure proper alignment and consistency in intercompany invoicing and financial reporting across entities
  • Support audit processes by preparing necessary documentation and responding to audit queries to ensure compliance and transparency

 

Business Unit Controlling

  • Conduct monthly financial consolidations for all entities within the BU, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Analyse and present actual financial performance and forecasts (revenue, costs, staffing) to division Management
  • Lead the annual budgeting process by consolidating budgets across entities and preparing comprehensive budget reports for management review
  • Develop financial business cases and approval within delegated authority levels

  • Relevant work experience (at least 3-5 years) as a business controller with solid commercial and business awareness
  • Track record of collaborating with business leaders in a fast growing and complex business environment
  • A proactive mindset, a team player with good communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to make conclusive summaries
  • Good knowledge of SAP and BI tools and excellent Microsoft Excel skills
  • Good time management and flexibility to work in a dynamic environment under tight deadlines
  • Fluency in German and English as day-to-day working languages
