The Opportunity

 

As Payments Regulatory Compliance Officer within our Group Compliance team, you will be at the forefront of European payments regulation, supporting Worldline’s licensed Payment Institution entities across multiple jurisdictions. This role sits at the heart of strategic regulatory transformation, including major upcoming reforms such as PSD3 and other key EU frameworks shaping the future of payments.

You will act as a regulatory reference point, translating complex European regulatory requirements into actionable internal policies and operational guidance. Working closely with senior stakeholders and supervisory authorities, you will contribute directly to strengthening our compliance framework while supporting innovation in a fast-evolving regulatory landscape.

Day-to-day Responsabilities

 

  • You monitor and analyze global payments regulatory developments and prepare impact assessments for senior stakeholders
  • You review and update internal policies to ensure continuous alignment with European and local regulatory requirements
  • You develop and maintain robust regulatory frameworks supporting licensed Payment Institution entities across multiple jurisdictions
  • You lead preparation and submission of regulatory returns and coordinate internal and external audit activities
  • You drive license application processes and maintain constructive relationships with supervisory authorities
  • You contribute to strategic regulatory programs including PSD3, PSR, DORA and Instant Payments Regulation implementation
  • You deliver structured regulatory updates and translate complex requirements into clear, operational guidance for business teams

 

 

Who Are we looking for 

 

We are looking for people who can drive positive change, move forward and lead the way — passionate individuals with a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow. In practice, this means :

  • 4–5 years minimum of experience in regulatory compliance, risk or audit within payment services or financial institutions
  • You hold a degree in Law, Compliance, Finance or a related discipline
  • You have strong knowledge of European payments regulations including PSD2, PSD3, EMD2, DORA and related frameworks
  • You are able to manage complex regulatory projects end-to-end with multiple stakeholders.
  • You demonstrate analytical rigor, attention to detail and ability to translate legal texts into operational policies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with confidence interacting with senior stakeholders
  • You are autonomous, collaborative and comfortable working in an international and multicultural Group environment
