The Global Architecture Division is responsible for providing best- in- class architecture to the Worldline Group and all its stakeholders supported by operational excellence.

 

Your objective :  As a Senior Solution Architect will play a critical role to craft highly scalable, flexible and resilient architectures that address consistent solutions for customers and the industry, as well as for establishing global best practices across the enterprise.

 

Purpose of the role:

  • The primary function of the Solution Architect is to develop architectures and solutions for projects and programs in addition to providing technical leadership and consulting on key technology decisions. We’re looking for passionate technologists to help us develop solution architectures to support our business and contribute to the ongoing maturity of the Ingenico architecture discipline.
  • As a Senior Solution Architect, you will develop architectures, build consensus around critical architecture decisions and communicate architecture direction with business and IT executives. 
  • As a technology leader, you will partner with delivery and engineering teams to build solutions that are aligned with target architectures and standards and you will lead efforts to establish effective architectures to support the needs of the organization.

 

Responsabilities include:

  • Responsible for project architectures and solutions. Main deliverables include the Project Solution Architecture and Architecture Decision Document 
  • Provide assessment of feasible solution options
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance across the lifecycle of a project to drive delivery of high-quality solutions
  • Lead the technical review and evaluation of COTS offerings 
  • Act as a liaison with other architect functions (security architects, data architects, technology architects, enterprise architects)
  • Contributing to the ongoing maturity of the architecture discipline and improvement of architecture delivery
  • Identifying opportunities to reuse enterprise and shared technology services
  • Influence a wide range of stakeholders across multiple GBLs & obtain consensus on the correct technical solution
  • Partnering with multiple delivery teams operating in Agile and traditional waterfall fashion to ensure solutions built are aligned to the long-term targets
  • Candidates will be expected to immediately contribute and lead the architecture for critical Payments-related transformation programs.

  • Architecture and Service Design

  • Ability to detect opportunities to reuse existing services and technical solutions in different business problems.
  • Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new services and technologies.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills in areas such as negotiation, facilitation and teamwork.
  • At ease with multiple tracks management
  • Business English fluency

 

 

Qualification

  • Graduate degree or comparable in computer science, systems analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience.
  • 7 to 10 years of experience in IT, including technical architecture, network design, application development, middleware, servers and storage, database management, and operations.
  • Exposure to multiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies and processing environments.
  • Exposure to international environments
  • Experience scaling solutions to millions of transactions / large data volumes / high concurrency requests
  • Deep knowledge and Experience of API driven architectures
