The opportunity

As the VP of Digital Experience, you will own the vision for our customer facing digital experience across digital channels in line with overall Digital Strategy. In this role you will lead and own the design of the e2e digital journeys across all global customer architypes and ensure that digital services are delivered across various customer missions in the customer life cycle. As the VP of Digital Experience, you will build the team and lead all product directors operationally on the ground to ensure we work and deliver cross functionally towards the business.

Day-to-day responsibilities

  • Lead strategic planning with operational oversight across all missions and product teams
  • Lead the team of product specialists managing customer archetypes globally
  • Design and deliver customer e2e journeys in line with market and business expectations 
  • Lead and support mission leads in new delivery model towards customer centric value creation
  • Manage Digital roadmap and dependencies
  •  Leverage KPIs and user data to guide decisions, optimise performance, and personalise interactions
  • Ensure WL digital experience is up to date with market innovation and latest trends aligned with business strategy
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and third-party agencies to ensure digital assets reflect brand values
  • Drive innovation across the product and tech teams in line with Tech and engineering strategy

Who are we looking for

  • 6-10 years of experience in digital leadership, UX and product management, or digital strategy roles Exceptional project management, communication, and cross-functional leadership capabilities
  • Strong stakeholder management capabilities with experience managing senior-level relationships
  • Understanding of payments industry, financial services regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Experience with digital platforms, APIs, and modern technology stack architecture
  • Proven experience in digital transformation initiatives and change management
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale teams (experience managing 50+ FTE preferred)
  • Experience managing multi-cultural, geographically distributed teams across different time zones
  • Track record of building high-performing product organisations from the ground up
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and align C-level executives and board members
  • Experience in budget management and P&L responsibility for digital initiatives
  • Deep understanding of customer journey mapping, digital transformation, and data-driven decision making
  • Fluency in English (business level); additional European languages an advantage
