The Opportunity
This role is distinctly technical in scope. You will not be responsible for commercial negotiations or go-to-market strategy — these are led by our Commercial Partner Managers and dedicated GTM team. Instead, you are their trusted technical counterpart, ensuring that partner solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with product strategy. Together, you deliver the best outcomes for our customers and partners.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Partner Collaboration & Technical Enablement:
As a Technical Partner Manager, you will engage with our technology and business partners in Switzerland to understand their technical capabilities, integration needs and solution opportunities. You translate these insights into actionable recommendations, enablement activities, and technical solutions that create mutual value.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work hand-in-hand with Commercial Partner Managers, Product Management, and Engineering to align on partner priorities, support commercial initiatives with technical expertise, and ensure smooth delivery of integrated solutions. You act as the technical counterpart to the Commercial Partner Managers in driving partnership success.
Product & Partner Alignment:
Provide field insights to product and engineering teams, ensuring that partner integrations and joint offerings meet market needs and partner expectations in Switzerland. You contribute to the partner enablement and integration roadmap, helping to shape and expand our technical capabilities through partnerships.
Opportunity Identification & Support:
Support business development and commercial teams by identifying potential technical opportunities with partners, providing expertise to assess feasibility and readiness, and ensuring partners are technically enabled to support customer solutions.
Ecosystem & Market Insights:
Monitor the Swiss partner ecosystem, including technical trends, competitive offerings, and emerging standards. Share actionable insights to inform our product, partnership, and enablement strategies.
Technical Enablement & Support Materials:
Develop and maintain partner-facing technical documentation, enablement materials, and solution guides. Support joint solution presentations and technical discussions alongside Commercial Partner Managers.
Performance Monitoring:
Track and report on technical aspects of partner performance, helping to identify areas for improvement, additional enablement, and potential innovation.
Who Are We Looking For
We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change, step up, and show what’s next — people with passion, a can-do attitude, and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice this means:
- A background in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, with a strong technical foundation and proven experience in technical partnerships or solution engineering roles.
- Fluency in German and English is required; proficiency in French or Italian is a strong plus.
- Deep understanding of the Financial IT services ecosystem — ideally with experience in payments and adjacent technologies relevant to the Swiss market.
- Familiarity with the partner and regulatory landscape in Switzerland, including regional and cross-border considerations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, technical trends, and partner feedback, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively with Commercial Partner Managers, Product Management, Engineering, and external partners.
- Experience supporting technical integrations, enablement activities, and joint solution delivery.
- Passion for creating win-win opportunities by understanding partner needs and delivering technical solutions that align with customer and market requirements.
- A creative, solutions-oriented mindset to identify and address challenges while driving technical innovation within the partner ecosystem.
