The Opportunity

he Business Manger will serve as a key strategic partner to the executive leadership, playing a pivotal role in helping to drive organizational goals and objectives. This position requires a highly organized, proactive, and collaborative individual who can manage a variety of tasks and projects, facilitate communication, and ensure the smooth operation of various initiatives within the organization.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Planning: Assist the executive team in developing and implementing strategic initiatives, tracking progress, and providing insights on critical projects and objectives.
  • Project Management: Oversee key projects and ensure that cross-functional teams are aligned, deadlines are met, and outcomes are achieved. Prepare regular status updates for executive leadership.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct research, analyze data, and prepare reports and presentations to support decision-making by the executive team.
  • Communication Facilitation: Serve as a liaison between the executive team and other departments, facilitating effective communication and ensuring alignment across the organization. Prepare and disseminate key messages and updates.
  • Meeting Coordination: Organize and manage executive meetings, including setting agendas, coordinating logistics, and ensuring follow-up on action items.
  • Operational Improvements: Identify areas for operational improvement within the organization and work with relevant teams to implement efficient processes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and community organizations, to support the organization's mission and initiatives.
  • Administrative Oversight: Manage the office of the executive leadership team, including scheduling, correspondence, and other administrative duties as required.
  • Confidentiality and Discretion: Handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and maintain confidentiality.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (typically 5-10 years) in a similar role, such as an executive assistant, project manager, or strategic advisor, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization and represent the executive team professionally.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Fluent German is mandatory, Swiss German is a plus
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
