The Opportunity
You will be located in our Worldline Warsaw office as part of the department Fraud Reporting and Rule Management. The major focus of the team is avoiding financial losses due to fraud and protecting the reputation of Worldline towards the products sold by our merchants.
The team is cross-functional, managing the different entities across the different countries. Our team not only offers you a wide variety of work, and new technologies, but also the space to develop yourself in an environment where there is a good balance between experienced and less experienced colleagues. You will also be closely working with colleagues from the investigation teams.
Within the department Fraud Reporting and Rule Management, you will report to the head of Fraud Analytics, Acquiring Rules and Reporting.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- You will be responsible to manage the fraud detection rules on different platforms.
- You will run performance analysis, improve rules to reduce the false positives rate, create rules to ensure that new fraud patterns are detected in due time.
- You will also analyze the fraud at all levels, from a sector view down to a merchant
- Based on your analysis you will do the recommendations to contain future fraud
- A side from the fraud detection rules, you will also implement specific blocking rules to avoid fraud without impacting genuine transactions
- You will ensure that fraud reports are correctly generated and sent to our merchants
- You will be requested to set up new reports whenever necessary.
Who Are We Looking For
We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change, step up and show what’s next – people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice this means:
- Bachelor's degree is a must
- 2-4 years of experience in data analysis
- Previous experience in financial fraud prevention/detection would be an asset
- Previous experience in acquiring business would be an asset
- Previous cooperation/experience with card schemes would be an asset
- Always considers the impact of decisions and actions on the customer;
- Perceives issues from the point of view of the customer; is pro-active and raises different options, exceeding the customer expectations;
- Ability to combine and aggregate data from different sources
- Knowledge of Power Query / Power BI or any other BI tool would be an asset
- Fluency in English.
