The Opportunity

As Environmental Manager you will be a member of an international team which is responsible for our ISO14001 certification in India, Switzerland, Germany, France, Spain, Belgium, and The Netherlands. You will be responsible for our 2 certified locations in Zürich and Frankfurt.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities​

• Responsible for ISO 14001 certification for our locations in Frankfurt and Zürich/Switzerland
• Yearly definition of local ISO 14001 objectives within their scope corresponding with the global objectives and strategy
• Drive ISO 14001 certification for defined sites and internal data centers in the above-mentioned region, and ensure the actualization of the ISO certificate following the valid RASCI
• Ensures compliance with local environmental regulations supported by local teams
• Manages local internal and external environmental audits concerning the ISO certification
• Supports data collection for environmental KPIs for answering extra financial ratings. 
• Examines corporate activities to establish where improvements can be made concerning energy consumption
• Reports on the EMS performance of his/her region to management.
• You will report functionally to the Global ISO14001 Manager
• Work together with the Environmental Managers in the Env. Mgmt. Team to improve permanently the Env. Mgmt. System
• Carry out important staff training, ensure all workforce members recognize and understand their contributions to improved environmental performance, and support CSR awareness initiatives.
• Participate in the Environmental board with other Environmental Managers from different countries
• You will be traveling once a month to Frankfurt and every second month to Zurich 

Who Are We Looking For

We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change, step up, and show what’s next – people with passion, a can-do attitude, and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice, this means:

• You've got substantial knowledge in environmental science, administration, and the ISO 14001
• ISO 9001, 45001 is optional, instead of 14001
• Languages:  German B1/B2 and good in written and spoken English
• 2 years of working experience
• Knowledge of German and possibly also Swiss environmental law
• Social skills: Eager to learn, open-minded, a good team spirit, result-driven, ability to work autonomously, agile, creative, professional,
• You master Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint
