The Opportunity
The Strategic Program Managers team, under the MS-ENTERPRISE-Strategy & Commercial Operations organization, oversees the governance of all strategic programs within the MS-ENTERPRISE entity. These include transformation programs, international geographical expansion of ENTERPRISE’s footprint, and the development of offerings that underpin ENTERPRISE’s growth ambitions. More broadly, this team ensures the effective execution of ENTERPRISE's strategy by implementing high-level governance to coordinate the entire ENTERPRISE organization and anticipate any potential deviations.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
As a Strategic Program Manager (SPM), you will be responsible for overseeing and managing strategic programs within the organization. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders, establishing governance structures, ensuring effective communication, and steering programs towards successful outcomes. The SPM will play a pivotal role in translating program objectives into actionable milestones, implementing governance processes, and facilitating communication across various stakeholders.
Day-today responsibilities include, for the Programs the Strategic Program Manager is in charge of:
- Strategic Planning: with exec-level stakeholders to develop and refine program objectives and goals.
- Program Governance: setup of proper governance structures, frameworks, and processes.
- Reporting & Communication Propose program status reports and top-level summaries.
- Program Steering Prepare and host steering committees at various levels, including Program Committee and business committees.
Who Are We Looking For
A highly skilled Strategic Program Manager (SPM) with a proven track record in leading complex, cross-functional programs. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in program governance, stakeholder management, and strategic execution. Exceptional communication skills are critical, as the role involves distilling complex program details into clear updates for executives and teams. This individual should have a deep understanding of risk management, problem-solving, and decision-making processes, with the ability to drive alignment across diverse teams. A proactive mindset and strong analytical capabilities are essential to navigate shifting priorities and deliver high-impact results.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and align program objectives with overall organizational goals.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse stakeholders.
- Project Management: Proficient in program and project management methodologies, including milestone tracking and structured reporting.
- Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at various levels.
- Governance Expertise: Experience in establishing and implementing governance structures and frameworks.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Leadership: Proven leadership skills, especially in leading cross-functional teams and steering committees.
- Results-Driven: Track record of delivering successful program outcomes within specified timelines and budget constraints.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and proactively address challenges in a dynamic environment.
- Collaboration: Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, working effectively with teams across different functions.
