The Opportunity
We are looking for a KYC/AML Risk Specialist to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring that Worldline does not do business with any unlawful or fraudulent clients, and support performing due diligence on our merchants worldwide.
In this role, you will be responsible for protecting the company’s reputation and ensuring we are not involved in any money laundering or other unlawful activities. As if you are an actual detective/investigator, you will conduct thorough research using external tools and sources, analyze KYC (Know Your Customer), and unearth any information indicating that something is not adhering to the law, our policies, or the policies of our acquirers.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- KYC and Risk assessment from the perspective of AML, KYC and Credit risk
- Onboarding of new and existing merchants. Verify documentation and request additional documents and/or information if needed and communicate the requests to sales
- Lookups in sanction list and Card Scheme databases
- Support other WL teams in Risk topics - as assigned
- Contributing to both the teams and personal development with ideas for improvement
- Participate in training sessions provided to the team
Who Are We Looking For
- English language is a must
- Good knowledge of Czech or Croatian would be a big asset
- Previous knowledge of KYC, AML compliance or merchant risk assessment is beneficial
- Attention to detail and analytical skills
- Problem-solving attitude
- Logical thinking and ability to learn
- Experience in working in an international environment
- Ability to work with various computer systems/programs
