The opportunity
We are looking for an upbeat People & Performance Manager to join our leadership team. The product domain is Digital Experience where we work closely with all customers facing digital services for Worldline. During your journey here you will get to know talented software engineering teams to help further strengthen empowered culture we strive to shape as well as contribute to their individual growth and performance.
In this role as performance manager, you will be working with software engineers to create an environment where they can consistently meet and exceed the company standards while working towards their personal goals. This would also mean offering feedback, coaching and recognition for achievements and success. In this role you are not expected to contribute to the tech or product strategy as your product is the people performance itself.
Day-to-day responsibilities
*Establishing job functions and expectations
* Improving employee abilities through coaching and feedback
* Establishing employee behaviour patterns that align their goals with the organisations mission, values and goals
* Improving communication throughout the organisation
* Providing factual basis for management decisions regarding hiring
* Conducting the hiring process e2e
* Ensuring onboarding and mentorship structure is in place
* Setting performance objectives
* Ensuring everyone in the team is contributing best to its expectations
Who are we looking for
People who have a professional approach, being constructive and finding solutions in the best interest of the business. You are a quick learner and self-starting, showing drive and initiatives supporting business goals. A great teammate who supports their team and puts the business objectives first. You also have:
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or another related field.
* Proven experience in people management
* Previous experience working as developer is seen as beneficial.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to connect with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
* Strong analytical skills to effectively process and structure large amounts of information.
