Fraud Transaction Monitoring Specialist

You will be responsible for ongoing monitoring of the client’s portfolio – fraud detection transaction monitoring and taking fraud prevention actions.

 

Day-to-day responsibilities:

 

  • You handle daily operations in accordance with organizational procedures and the agreed SLA
  • You analyze documents received from the merchants and draw conclusions
  • You analyze merchant’s business activity and transactions from a fraud perspective on the basis of alerts
  • You process contract termination process for merchants: prepare termination letters, collect signatures, issue relevant communication, archive letters
  • You block/unblock settlements and POS terminals
  • You handle requests from external partners and authorities (e.g. banks, issuers, third parties, police etc.)
  • You handle requests from internal stakeholders (e.g. sales department)
  • You build business relations with merchants and salespersons
  • You take part in meetings of fraud prevention teams (fraud forums)

 

What we are looking for:

 

  • English at a very good level, knowledge of a Nordic language would be an asset
  • Polish at a good level
  • Previous experience in KYC/AML and or in financial fraud prevention/detection or in cashless payments or chargebacks
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Problem-solving attitude
  • Logical thinking and ability to learn
  • Experience in the acquiring business would be considered an asset.
  • Previous experience in risk, AML, compliance, or fraud prevention would be a strong advantage.
  • Experience or prior cooperation with card schemes (e.g., Visa, Mastercard) would also be a plus.
