We are seeking a skilled API Integration Engineer to join our technical team in Warsaw. You will support Electronic Cash Register (ECR) integrations. As an API Integration Engineer, your primary responsibility is to design, maintain, and optimize integrations with external clients, with a specific focus on ECR API integration. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strong communication skills, and problem-solving ability. You will serve as a technical liaison between engineering teams and customers/partners, helping to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, and to prevent them from arising in the future.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and hands-on integration assistance for the ECR API based Integration project
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API connectivity and system interoperability
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure robust integration solutions
- Monitor system performance and diagnose potential issues before they escalate
- Communicate effectively in English with clients and internal teams
- Manage project-related communications, deliverables, and status updates
- Use Jira for issue tracking and project management
Who are we looking for:

- Good communication skills – fluent in Polish and English. Knowledge of German is a plus.
- Open-minded and flexible
- Strong technical background (HW/SW environment)
- Experience with API integrations
- Familiarity with Jira and agile project practices
- Ready to work in an international context
- Team player with a good level of autonomy
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 4 - 5 years of experience, ideally in a similar position
