The oportunity

 

Within the Customer Lifecycle Management, Continuous Monitoring teams are responsible for protecting Worldline and its operations from financial and reputational losses incurred by financial crimes. The teams assess, control and mitigate risks. Risk types related to financial crime are consolidated in a comprehensive risk management framework that covers anti-money laundering, sanctions, embargoes, anti-bribery and corruption as well as fraud  investigations. The teams’ activities ensure adherence to regulatory standards throughout the duration of customer relationship.The AML Screening Team conducts regular screening and monitoring of sanctions, PEP and bad press alerts. The team ensures compliance with international regulatory standards and mitigates financial crime risks by conducting thorough investigations, raising proper escalations and keeping accurate records.The newly- established team is located in Warsaw, however, it cooperates with stakeholders from different countries. You will have a unique opportunity to build the comprehensive framework for managing customer lifecycle by cooperating with other teams within Risk Management Operations.

 

Objective

 

  • Ensure the deployment of Risk Management Framework and Report on risks to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of a risk-aware culture.
  • Ensure that risk/ reward balance is consistent with Worldline's strategy.

Activity

 
Risk Management
  • Define, deploy and lead the risk management Framework (procedures, policies, etc.) on their perimeter.
  • Support the identification and analysis for all types of risks and ensure the definition of the mitigation strategy and monitor the associated action plans.
  • Establish the risks' mapping and communicate it to the relevant stakeholders (internal and external).
  • Engage with experts and management of the other teams (business, Project Management, Sales, financial, legal, HR, etc.) as appropriate to ensure that risks are effectively assessed.
  • Attend management Committee (at Country, Legal entity, Region, Group Business Line, Corporate, Group, etc.) as required to provide an independent assessment of the risk position.
  • Prepare and Communicate reports and recommendations in accordance with relevant documentation and quality standards or as agreed (e.g., Risk Registers).
  • Contribute to the development and update of the Risk Appetite Statement.
 
Enhancement
  • Provide mentoring and education in Risk Management knowledge, requirements and techniques (training, awareness, communication campaigns, etc.).

Who Are We Looking For:

 

  • We are looking for a detail-oriented and risk-aware professional with experience in KYC/AML and customer lifecycle management, particularly in Client Due Diligence processes, such as screening.
  • The ideal candidate is self-motivated, proactive, well-organized, and has a strong eye for detail.
  • You should feel confident working cross-functionally with Compliance, Risk, Legal, Operations, and Front Office teams.
  • Ability to clearly document and justify decisions is essential.
  • You should be capable of managing multiple cases in a controlled and timely manner.
  • A strong sense of ownership and governance discipline is required.
  • The role demands the ability to balance regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and customer fairness.
