The Opportunity
In our global business line Merchant Services, the Scheme Management teams are maintaining the relationships, licenses and scheme compliance control to international card schemes such as VISA Mastercard, Discover, UnionPay International and JCB, as well as local payment methods. Within our Scheme License Management team, we are now looking for an experienced and passionate individual who will be responsible Scheme License Management related activities and working towards the major Card Schemes.
The Scheme License Management department offers a dynamic workspace being part of a highly collaborative team that supports Worldline Merchant Service’s growth strategy in existing and new markets. The team manages and coordinate license management activities for Worldline Merchant Services on a global level and also maintain and drive the user management, steering, controlling and compliance processes and provides strategic consultancy related to card scheme regulations.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and communicate relevant changes of card scheme rules and, when needed, liaise with the Card Schemes to acquire additional interpretations.
- The responsibility to disclose (updated) scheme rules to relevant stakeholders.
- Supervise implementation of required requirements in collaboration with the organization.
- Be responsible for and report scheme compliance status against relevant standards.
- Act as a subject matter authority and consultant from your area of expertise.
- Process ownership of internal scheme license management processes
- The possibility to provide advise to Worldline’s Global Acquiring strategy, including participation in Global Expansion Projects and support scheme license changes throughout the organization.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with the relevant schemes and internal collaborators.
- Represent Worldline towards the major Card Schemes.
- Hold trainings and educate internal stakeholders in how to manifest high acquiring standards.

- Bachelor Degree
- At least (5) years of working experience in complex environments in a similar position, with a consistent track record.
- You are service minded and analytical.
- You enjoy and endorse collaboration with many stakeholders for getting results jointly in a dynamic environment.
- You are driven in your own pursue of reaching targets. Acting, delivering and taking ownership of targets and related tasks independently comes naturally to you.
- You are a strong team player and enjoy collaborating with people on an international level located in different countries.
- You are a strong communicator and able to advice and influence organization wide, regardless of level in organization.
- You have the ability to identify possibilities to improve and drive business value within your area.
- You are fluent in both writing and speaking English language. A plus if you also speak French.
