The Opportunity

We are seeking for a Product Owner to join the Acceptance & Acquiring tribe, to lead our Data Warehouse squads during a significant transition. Your role will be pivotal in our ongoing process to migrate our two legacy Data Warehouses to a new, Google Cloud-based solution. The Squads focus mainly on cards processing data operations, including data management, reporting and billing processes for the acquiring release train, but also serves the issuing and payments domains.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Develop and articulate a compelling product vision for our cloud-based DWH solution.
• Oversee the migration project while ensuring ongoing maintenance and support for the existing Data Warehouses until the transition is complete.
• Define, prioritize, and own product functionalities, incorporating them into the product backlog with epics and user stories.
• Balance priorities across incident/problem tickets, technical developments, compliance topics, operational excellence, and new product features.
• Ensure strong collaboration with customers and various stakeholders including architects, analysts, IT leads, project managers and the other product owners.
• Lead and motivate squads by providing functional information and context on deliverables.
• Share information across squads to manage dependencies and align initiatives.
• Collaborate with the Chief Product Owner to create epics and prioritize them in the ART backlog.
• Share with other Product Owners any relevant information to safeguard cross-squad or cross-tribe initiatives to manage dependencies and ensure deliveries (e.g. epics dependencies).

Who Are We Looking For

We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change, step up and show what's next – people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice this means:

• Higher degree in IT, Management, or related fields.
• At least 3+ years’ experience as a Product Owner in banking and financial domain. 
• Relevant working experience as a Product Owner in an Agile environment, preferably with knowledge of Scaled Agile Frameworks.
• Experience with cloud-based Data Warehouse and migration projects is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, enabling you to engage and influence diverse stakeholders, foster collaboration, and articulate product requirements clearly.
• Ability to work efficiently with cross-functional, multi-site, and multi-language teams.
• Knowledge of data management, payment systems, and cloud technologies is advantageous.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
