The opportunity : Account Manager

 

Within Merchant Service - SMB, Worldline is looking for a business-minded and driven “Partnership Development Manager”. You will be responsible to cultivate and establish commercial partnerships that are essential for Worldline's market presence in the Benelux region. You will report to the Head of Sales. 

 

Your main goal is to enable partners to grow and offer best-in class payment solutions to their customers. Our partners typically consist of:

  • Software vendors
  • Webshop developers
  • Cash register suppliers
  • Terminal resellers


We count on you to walk the talk and attractively position Worldline’s latest payment innovations in the market.

 

Day-to-day Responsibilities :

 

Strategic partnership building & management

  • Identify and evaluate potential strategic partnership opportunities in the Benelux region
  • You build a C-level network at payment partners
  • You are responsible for the full sales cycle (building pipeline, approach potential new partners, finding the right solution for this partner, price & contract negotiations, support in onboarding process, technical integration and further develop these partners)

 

Business development & future cooperation models

  • You take the lead for new cooperation and improved partner models which increases the footprint of Worldline in the partner market in Benelux
  • You share feedbacks and market needs internally to enhance the existing product offering

 

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned partners
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Legal, Finance, Operations) to ensure smooth partnership operations
  • Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders

 

Who we are looking for

 

  • 4+ years of experience in partnership / business development
  • Seasoned business developer. Building and acquiring new partnerships is your passion
  • Strong listening skills and preference for consultative selling
  • Great communicator with excellent presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, pro-active and results-oriented professional
  • Tech-savvy. Knowledge of payments and/or Retail a definite plus
  • Relevant experience in B2B services and technology intensive businesses
  • Fluent in English & Dutch. French is a nice to have.
