The Work Environment

You will work within the Direct Sales department of Worldline Netherlands. This department consists of 25 colleagues, divided over 4 teams (Sales Support, Sales Hospitality & Travel, Sales Retail & Public svs and Inside Sales).

What will your job look like

Within the Direct Sales team of Worldline Netherlands you are responsible for business retention and upsell to existing Merchants in the mid segment. As Inside Sales Retention your goal is to focus on the standard Worldline portfolio (Terminals, Acquiring, Acceptance), referring to numerous other Merchants that have already chosen for our high-quality solutions. Key elements to be successful in this role are a data driven approach, flexibility and excellent communication skills. Inside the Worldline office you are in touch with existing Merchants, assure their future with Worldline, and convince them of the added value of Worldline products and services.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • You pro-actively upsell Worldline products and services to existing NL Merchants in mid segment according to target;
  • You join forces with Marketing department to organize product presentations and demonstrations towards Merchants via webinars;
  • Weekly reporting of #repricing tracks, #calls, #proposals and #upsell deals (complete and in-time);
  • You have a data driven approach on retention and merchant volume evolution.

Signs of success:

  • You are capable of convincing Merchants via phone call, email and/or social media;
  • You assure clear, concise and passionate communication to persuade and influence Merchants;
  • You have or are eager to acquire knowledge of Worldline product portfolio (Terminals, Acquiring, Acceptance);
  • You use strengths and weaknesses of competitors to maximize own success;
  • You are able to translate Merchant requirements towards existing Worldline product or solution.

Skills we can’t do without:

  • At least HBO level of thinking and analytical skills;
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English;
  • High level of independence;
  • Able to maintain structured way of working in dynamic role with many tracks in parallel;
  • Open for feedback, listening, and demonstrating understanding of others’ feedback;
  • Fast and adequate in follow-up;
  • Reliable, sense of initiative and willing to take responsibility;
  • Demonstrating professionalism, personal commitment and dedication, integrity and truthfulness;
  • Motivated and eager to deliver results;
  • Supportive towards other members of Inside Sales team.
