As a Product Designer in the Worldline Design team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our product portfolio — from the visual identity of our interfaces to the end-to-end experience our customers have with our solutions. Your mission is to advocate for the user's needs while elevating the visual quality and coherence of our products, defining and implementing intuitive solutions for the product direction, visual design, and interaction to enhance the overall user journey. You will bring a keen eye for aesthetics and a strong understanding of user-centered design, combining visual craft with thoughtful interaction design to create experiences that are both beautiful and functional.

 

This role is based in Stockholm, Sweden.

Day-to-day responsibilities

  • Design visually polished, intuitive interfaces for complex payment solutions — bringing both aesthetic quality and usability together.
  • Shape the visual language of our products — contributing to and evolving typography, colour, spacing, iconography, and layout across our portfolio.
  • Collaborate with our Design System experts to grow and improve our world-class Design System, ensuring visual consistency and component quality.
  • Transform business needs into clear, compelling designs and interactions with attention to visual detail and craft.
  • Create high-fidelity UI designs and interactive prototypes that communicate design intent clearly to developers and stakeholders.
  • Participate in design workshops and user testing to validate and refine your work together with colleagues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams — including product managers, developers, and researchers — to deliver a polished, cohesive user experience.
  • Stay ahead of visual design and industry trends, bringing fresh ideas and inspiration that elevate our standards.
  • Actively explore opportunities for our business and the field of UX with generative and Agentic AI.
  • Validate your designs with real users to measure impact and continuously seek opportunities to optimise and improve their experience.
  • Become an active member of the Worldline Design team, contributing to our supportive design culture, critique practices, and shared knowledge.

Who are we looking for

We look for talented, thoughtful designers who care about their craft. People who bring fresh perspectives, step up and show what's next — optimistic, upbeat people with a can-do attitude, a hunger to learn and grow, and a genuine love for collaboration. In practice this means:

  • 3+ years of experience in product design, with strong skills in both visual/UI design and interaction design.
  • A keen eye for visual detail — you care about typography, colour, spacing, hierarchy, and the nuances that elevate an interface from functional to delightful.
  • Experience working with and contributing to design systems, with an understanding of how visual consistency scales across products.
  • Experience working with scrum teams and excellent skills in Figma and other design tools, including high-fidelity UI design and prototyping.
  • Strong analytical skills — you get to the bottom of things to understand core problems, not just the surface level.
  • Knowledge of user research practices and experience using usability testing platforms.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to present your design thinking clearly to audiences with varying levels of design understanding.
  • Deep empathy for users and a passion for representing their needs and motivations to diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a thoughtful, proactive mindset in identifying opportunities for improving the user experience.
  • An optimistic, collaborative personality — you bring warmth and energy to the team, value diverse perspectives, and believe the best work happens when people support each other.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS and/or the Payments sector is a nice-to-have — strong design skills are what matter most, and industry knowledge you'll pick up on the job.
  • You have an online portfolio showcasing your visual and product design work, which you can share upon application.
  • You are available to work full time.
