Head of Pre-sales (EMEA)

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • You lead the pre-sales teams, building trust, professionalism and a common purpose to help unlock value more than the sum of the individual team members
  • You are passionate about our clients and creating value for their business through the solutions and services designed  and delivered
  • You actively engage throughout the pre-sales process to provide solution guidance and subject matter expertise in the pursuit of customer opportunities
  • You deliver exceptional outcomes that our clients value and our business can profit from
  • You think effective, deliver efficient and remain restless and curious to stay abreast of market developments that help us drive improvement and provide a better pre-sales service
  • You continually invest in the development of Ingenico’s pre-sale offer to expand our pre-sales capability across our people, process & tooling
  • You contribute extensively to Ingenico’s thought leadership both stimulating the debate and challenging the status quo.

  • You provide clear leadership to the EMEA Pre-sales team in pursuit of our mission
  • You support the identification, conversion and realisation of sales opportunities
  • You enable client satisfaction as a consequence of the advice and support you provide
  • You ensure PS delivery is maintained at an acceptable level of transparency, risk and performance
  • You maintain, develop and expand the Pre-sale offer
  • You apply the latest business and market insight in the development of pre-sale capability and the conversion of new business
  • You unlock improvements in pre-sales capability and competence

 

Skills we can’t do without:

  • You’re built to lead and know what it takes to drive performance and manage transformation
  • You have 6+ years of experience in a pre-sales, solution management or professional services role with proven experience of working within a professional, fast moving and challenging environment
  • You have the ability to balance multiple engagements and clients whilst working on time and to budget
  • You have deep experience in the payment ecosystem and in particular payment technologies (embedded applications, web-based solutions).
  • You have broad experience in pre-sales support working with business development teams to support the marketing and promotion of end to end payment solutions and payment advisory services
  • You have demonstrable experience of contributing to the delivery of high value & complex projects of work, in a technology environment, delivering high standards of pre-sales support
  • You comfortably manage stakeholders of all levels of seniority, handling their expectations and satisfaction their needs effectively.
  • You rapidly absorb and apply process or technical information, with a logical and analytical approach to problem solving
  • You have the ability to capture and translate need providing the bridge to technical domains
  • You are self-supportive with a high degree of initiative & enthusiasm, requiring minimal management.

 

Skills we’d like:

  • You have a good degree from a leading university in a technical or commercial subject
  • You are hands-on, autonomous, self-motivated and must enjoy working within a changing & dynamic organisation.
  • You are able to work with customers (both internal & external) of all cultures and in this have excellent client facing skills.
  • You are master communicator capable of influence, persuasion, facilitation and negotiation
