Title:  Head of International Sales, Europe & North America - Transport & Mobility

The Opportunity

 

The Head of International Sales is a senior manager within the Mobility & eTransactional Services (“MeTS”) business who’s primary objective is to win new business in Europe & North America for Worldline MeTS products & solutions with Transport and Mobility:

1.            Winning new business in Europe (outside of existing MeTS countries) & North America

2.            Developing and building partnerships where our solutions/offerings are mutually complementary

3.            Building relationships with influencers, consultants etc to position Worldline

4.            Developing, growing and converting pipeline

5.            Setting sales strategy for the region for the designated sales campaigns

 

Reporting to the International Sales Director Transport & Mobility MeTS, the Head of International Sales has ultimate accountability for delivering the growth for the region and meeting targets.  To this end, the Head of International Sales works closely with the Worldline internal delivery teams within the Worldline MeTS GBL and MS GBL to deliver the growth.

 

The Head of International Sales works collaboratively with the MeTS Transport & Mobility CEO, Strategy Director & Retail Director, MeTS CMO, Marketing Director and any other division of Worldlines teams to:

1.            Converting opportunities;

2.            develop the future strategy for growth via defined and agreed sales strategies for each campaign aligned to Worldlines core capabilities.

3.            Responsible for representing Worldline MeTS for the region in respect of the Worldline

 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities​

 

This is a high profile senior management role within Worldline MeTS.  In delivering Order Entry and revenue growth, and growing pipeline, the key responsibilities are:

 

  • Responsible for developing client relationships at a strategic level
  • Developing and building partnerships where our solutions/offerings are mutually complementary
  • Building relationships with influencers, consultants etc. to position Worldline
  • Developing and converting a pipeline of opportunity that drives growth and profitability for Worldline
  • Leading virtual teams to win deals
  • Influence customers and partner business decisions
  • Leading multi-disciplined management teams, cross divisions and functions, building strong team working relationships, morale and motivation;
  • Leveraging resource through the matrix model and internal relationships
  • Work with the senior management across the MeTS organisation to develop and drive the sales strategy within overall corporate objectives, strategy and mission.
  • Develop and manage large deals and strategic relationships with ‘C’ level executives within Europe (outside of existing MeTS countries) & North America.
  • Develop and maintain an intimate knowledge of the client environment, needs and objectives to help the company enhance/develop their product portfolio and reputation – feedback to marketing and product development groups.
  • Develop and maintain an intimate knowledge of the competitor landscape, product portfolio and trends in Europe (outside of existing MeTS countries) & North America

  • Must have strong negotiation skills.

  • Experience of opening in a hunter capacity, opening doors and shaping the customer thinking before they go to market
  • History of delivering commitments in client relationships.
  • Critical thinking – track record of strong business and technical judgement enabling delivery of financials and customer deliverables
  • Ability to demonstrate creativity and innovation through new client solutions and challenging issues
  • Must have a resilient and adaptable approach to working in unstructured, varying environments and composure in changing and difficult situations.
  • Ambitious, dynamic and motivated hunter with strong relationship skills.
  • International mindset and sensitivity to building new cross-border business lines.
  • Location: within UK or Europe, with personal circumstances to enable regular international travel.
  • Fluent in English

  • Proficient in other European languages
