The opportunity
You’ll be part of an API cross-functional team which is mostly responsible for the integration Layer full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. This team is really the core switch for all Worldline Applications.
For integration and acceptance tests you are continuously collaborating with our customers and clients close together with developers. You are in charge of successfully designing, executing, and documenting tests. You work in an international environment with JIRA, Confluence and Xray as key test management tools.
Day-to-day responsibilities
- Review business requirements and software design documentation to ensure comprehensive test coverage and quality assurance alignment.
- Design, author, and execute complex manual and automated test cases, including creation of test data and regression test suites.
- Perform API testing using Swagger and Postman, constructing requests, validating responses, and maintaining Postman/Newman test collections.
- Investigate defects through log analysis, root cause identification, and detailed documentation, tracking issues using Jira and Confluence.
- Collect, manage, and analyze test results, ensuring accurate reporting and traceability throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Collaborate within Agile/Scrum (SAFe) teams, participating in story reviews, test demonstrations, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Utilize testing and monitoring tools including Postman, Putty, Jira, Confluence, Excel, Newman, Grafana, and SQL to support end-to-end quality assurance activities.
Who are we looking for
- Knowledge of Postman, Putty, Jira, Confluence, Excel, Newman, Grafana, and SQL
- 4-5+ years of experience working in software testing
- Experience in payment industry or banking is nice-to-have
- Experience in test automation preferred
- Experience with Agile methodology and both Scrum and DevOps frameworks
- Accurate work and documentation style
- Team player both as part of an International team (BE, DE, BG, IN and RO) and in large and distributed organization
- Proficiency in English is mandatory; German or French skills are an asset
