Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Deploying, automating, maintaining, and managing on-prem production and DR system for Worldline Core application, Web & mobile apps, API.
  • Testing and implementing patches, updates, and fixes for middleware and DB as necessary following the established Change Management Process.
  • Ensuring production systems' availability, performance, scalability, and security.
  • Work closely with application team, 3rd party including customers, to Identify and prioritize area of service improvement to increase overall IT service delivery quality
  • Take ownership of related incidents and progress through closure. Perform root cause analysis and provide a corrective and preventive solution timely according to SLA and accuracy.
  • Document and update technical documents, problem resolution, testing, related operation processes/procedures, and DR plan.
  • Perform regular database schema changes with no downtime, perform regular system capacity planning & batch trending analysis to ensure and upkeep system hygiene and cater to organic growth and biz expansion.
  • Establish close interactions with team members and stakeholders, especially in troubleshooting and problem resolution.
  • Provide out-of-office hours on-call support.

 

What are we looking for

We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change, step up and show what’s next – people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice this means:

  • 4+ years of SRE experience implementing and maintaining on-premises highly available, scalable, and self-healing applications.
  • Good knowledge of setting up application Infrastructure environment & debugging application Infra issues.
  • Experience in any of the skills such as: automation and testing via scripting & programming, log management using ELK stack, DevOps, Linux and Opensource Solutions, or MySQL Enterprise including administration and associated challenges with performance and growth (DBA).
  • Good analytical skills and ability to work independently, ability to work in a team.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills in Chinese; English is a plus.
