As a Product Designer with a mobile focus in the Worldline Design team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our mobile product experiences — the way our customers interact with our solutions on the go. Your mission is to advocate for the user's needs, defining and implementing intuitive solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience to enhance their overall mobile user journey. You will bring deep expertise in native mobile design, leveraging your understanding of platform conventions, touch-first interactions, and on-the-go usage contexts to craft experiences that feel natural and effortless. While your primary focus will be on mobile, you will also contribute to the broader product experience, ensuring seamless continuity across platforms.
This role is based in Stockholm, Sweden.
Day-to-day responsibilities
- Design intuitive mobile app interfaces for Worldline's payment solutions, delivering experiences that delight users across iOS and Android platforms.
- Champion mobile-specific design patterns, including touch interactions, gestures, responsive layouts, and platform-specific conventions (Human Interface Guidelines & Material Design).
- Collaborate with our Design System experts to grow and improve our world-class Design System, ensuring scalability and consistency across mobile platforms.
- Transform business needs into clear, compelling mobile designs, interactions, and micro-animations.
- Design and prototype end-to-end mobile flows, considering connectivity states, performance constraints, and on-the-go usage contexts.
- Participate in design workshops and mobile usability testing to validate and refine your work together with colleagues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams — including mobile developers, product managers, and researchers — to deliver a polished, cohesive user experience.
- Stay ahead of mobile industry trends, bringing fresh ideas and inspiration that elevate our standards.
- Actively explore opportunities for our business and the field of UX with generative and Agentic AI, particularly in mobile contexts.
- Validate your designs with real users to measure impact and continuously seek opportunities to optimise and improve their mobile experience.
- Become an active member of the Worldline Design team, contributing your mobile expertise and learning from colleagues across the broader design organisation.
Who are we looking for
We look for talented, thoughtful designers who care about their craft. People who bring fresh perspectives, step up and show what's next — optimistic, upbeat people with a can-do attitude, a hunger to learn and grow, and a genuine love for collaboration. In practice this means:
- 3+ years of experience in product design, with a strong focus on native mobile app design (iOS and/or Android).
- Deep knowledge of mobile design patterns, platform guidelines (Apple HIG, Material Design), and mobile interaction paradigms including gestures, haptics, and adaptive layouts.
- Proven experience designing and shipping mobile apps, with the ability to demonstrate impact on user engagement and satisfaction.
- Experience working with scrum teams and tools like Jira and Confluence, and strong skills in Figma including mobile prototyping and handoff workflows.
- Experience in UI design and micro-interactions, with a particular strength in mobile motion design and transitions.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to present your design thinking clearly to audiences with varying levels of design understanding.
- Deep empathy for users and a passion for representing their needs and motivations to diverse stakeholder groups, especially in mobile-first and on-the-go contexts.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a thoughtful, proactive mindset in identifying opportunities for improving the user experience.
- An optimistic, collaborative personality — you bring warmth and energy to the team, value diverse perspectives, and believe the best work happens when people support each other.
- Experience in B2B SaaS and/or the Payments sector is a nice-to-have — what we care about most is your mobile design craft. Industry knowledge you'll learn on the job.
- You have an online portfolio showcasing mobile app design work, which you can share upon application.
- You are available to work full time.
