The Opportunity 

We are seeking a skilled Tech Lead to drive our Move to Google Cloud initiative. In this role, you will lead the technical strategy, design, and execution of cloud migration efforts, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency. You will collaborate with a team of six colleagues to modernize infrastructure, optimize cloud-native solutions, and establish best practices for Google Cloud adoption. 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities​ 

• Lead the migration of applications and infrastructure to Google Cloud (GCP) 

• Define and implement GCP architecture, security, and cost optimization strategies 

• Collaborate with your team of six and other cross-functional teams to refactor and modernize applications for cloud-native environments 

• Ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability in cloud deployments 

• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and hands-on guidance to your team 

Who Are We Looking For 

We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change, step up and show what’s next – people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice this means: 

• Bachelor/Masters in Data Science/Informatics or other for Software development relevant field 

• Minimum 4 years' experience as a GCP practitioner (DevOps, DBA, Sysadmin, Cloud engineer or similar) 

• Proven experience in Google Cloud migration and architecture 

• Expertise in GCP Services (Compute Engine, Kubernetes, Big Query, Cloud Functions etc.) 

• Strong knowledge of containers, Kubernetes (GKE), CI/CD and DevOps best practices 

• Experience with security, compliance, and cost management in GCP 

• Strong problem solving and leadership skills 

• Experiences from Agile processes and practices 

• Effective communication skills, written and oral. Comfortable in the English language, additional languages Swedish and/or French primarily is a bonus 

• Familiarity with payment card transaction processing is an advantage
