We are looking for a Senior Credit Analyst to join our Credit function within Key Accounts. You will work closely with the commercial side supporting Worldline’s growth and value creation ambitions. Our function is responsible for ensuring that Worldline is in good control of the credit risks associated with the card acquiring product, as well as managing and continuously developing processes, credit risk models and policies. 
 

As a Senior Credit Analyst you will prepare credit memos and annual reviews of counterparties to assess their credit quality and to recommend appropriate credit limits, terms and conditions, and present to the Credit Risk Committees for decision. The underwriting process includes analyzing financial statements (P&L, BS and CF), reviewing the client’s business risk, industry dynamics and competitive environment. You will work closely with the sales organization and attend meetings with customers. In this role we are looking for someone who is a leader and can provide support and guidance to other team members and help grow and develop the team.
 

We are looking for the person who can identify to the following characteristics
Result oriented and diligent with a strong ability to prioritize work in a fast paced and changing environment. You have a good sense of responsibility and always strive for perfection and deliver simplicity. Previous experience with credit assessment, including assessing financial statements and business risk profiles.

 

Qualifications 

  • You have a degree in finance, accounting or similar
  • 5-8 years of analytical experience related to commercial credit assessment, having a deep understanding of financial statements and accounting concepts
  • Strong communication skills – orally as well as written/reports – in English (Swedish is desirable but not essential)
     

Responsibilities with the role

  • Carrying out (annual/periodic) credit reviews of assigned limits and recommend risk class, changes in limit and collateral setup based on the outcome of the analysis
  • Conduct full credit assessment of new prospects
  • Being well prepared and perform credible presentations in the credit committee
  • Supporting the Boarding & Activation team as well as Sales in credit-related matters
  • Coach, develop and guide more junior team members
