The Opportunity

We are looking for a versatile Senior Software Engineer in Java for our Security team. In this position, you will be an active member of a highly-skilled Dev-Ops team, responsible for building, running, and maintaining security services across multiple software platforms within Worldline - Serving internal users, partners, and our valued customers.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities​

We are a DevOps team who proudly build, run and support our own products.

• Develop microservices based on Java technologies
• Contribute in technical design, code-reviews and build solutions to improve the customer centricity.
• Work with cross functional teams of Architects, Product managers and Engineers.
• Being active in our agile events like daily standups, planning, retros, demos, etc.
• Facilitating across teams and helping foster collaboration and open communication.
• Securing an outstanding qualitative service availability 24/7/365 where 3rd line on-call duty is expected according to a rotating schedule.

 Who Are We Looking For

People who are passionate about developing and operating products and services that bring value to our customers, your team, and your business. You act as a role model to team members and others by staying committed, showing accountability, and delivering results. We always set our team delivery first! You also have:

• Proven experience in software development with high proficiency in Java.
• Experience in developing robust micro-services with high transaction intensity and availability.
• Experience in Identity and Access Management, Application and network security.
• Experience in working with Version control systems (Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Deep understanding of both on-premise and Cloud Infrastructure platforms - preferably GCP.
• Strong desire to learn new technologies and concepts.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, security, engineering, or other relevant fields.
• Deep understanding of software quality assurance principles.
• Full working proficiency in English.

• Are comfortable in a fast-paced environment, handling many different partners, prioritizing, and making quick decisions daily.
• Curious attitude, continuously learning and sharing your knowledge with your peers and others.

To fully enjoy our autonomous and agile ways it would be great if you also have:

• Hands-on-experience in cloud computing, dockerization and kubernetes.
• Prior DevOps experience, including fostering the DevOps culture, automation, lean flow, measurement, and recovery.
• Knowledge in front-end development preferably in React.
• Experience in developing secure PCI-DSS certified solutions is considered an advantage.
