The opportunity

The Resilience Officer is a critical role within the second line of defense of Bambora, part of  Worldline. In this role you will be a part of the team leading the charge in strengthening our company's resilience and  business continuity management processes. Reporting directly to the Entity’s Head of Risk and Compliance Officer, and also supporting your local entity’s management team and senior specialists, you'll play an integral role in driving the effective operation of our operating environment. You will be supported by the global entity resilience officer network and will also participate in global resilience initiatives to ensure that business continuity management industry best practices are rolled-out across Worldline.

Day-to-day responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the company’s Business Impact Analysis by coordinating assessments across the operation, providing expertise and challenging stakeholder assumptions 
  • Develop and maintain Business Continuity Plans and Crisis Management Plans and work closely together with senior IT management ensuring the integration of ICT Continuity- and Recovery plans. 
  • Develop and plan local test programs, and coordinate their execution together with senior IT management 
  • Provide expert guidance on regulatory resilience and incident management requirements, including DORA  
  • Monitor and oversee the local incident management, supporting in continuous improvements and lessons learned 
  • Implement and drive local business continuity and resilience awareness programs  
  • Develop local business continuity policies, strategies and objectives and oversee compliance with regulatory requirements, both locally and in our business globally. 

Who are we looking for

  • 4+ years within a 2nd line Risk Management and/or Control Function role.  
  • Excellent knowledge and awareness related to resilience and business continuity best practices and frameworks 
  • Knowledge about DORA, incl incident- and business continuity management.  
  • Experience in or with strongly regulated institutions and industries.  
  • Self-driven ethics and initiative in assignments and stakeholder management.  
  • Ability to present and influence decision making with executive audiences.  
  • Experience working in matrix organizations.
