The Opportunity
Are you a Product Manager with a keen understanding of market dynamics and an enthusiasm for driving growth? In this critical role, you will be responsible for expanding our IPP platform to new markets, ensuring smooth, swift, and effective launches.
You will be a driving force in gathering insights from local sales teams, collaborating closely with go-to-market functions and ensuring that our expansion strategies are aligned with market requirements and customer needs. Your expertise will be essential to our success in introducing innovative solutions while enhancing our product portfolio’s relevance and performance.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
In this dynamic role, you will perform key functions in the following areas:
Market Analysis and Strategy Development:
- Identify potential markets for expansion together with go-to-market, building a detailed strategy for market entry and growth.
- Gather input from local teams, analyzing market requirements and consumer needs to tailor our offerings effectively.
Merchant Journey Focus:
- Maintain a holistic view of the merchant journey, ensuring all aspects are considered in our expansion strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product and operational teams to optimize the entire merchant experience from onboarding to payment processing.
Collaboration and Execution:
- Work closely cross-functional partners in Product, Go-to-Market, local sales and Customer Operations to ensure seamless execution.
- Facilitate communication and information sharing across teams to align objectives and strategies.
Accountability:
- Lead initiatives from conception to execution, driving projects from a seed to harvest while maintaining timelines and delivering results.
- Define and manage the requirements necessary for successful product launches in specific markets.
Performance Monitoring and Improvement:
- Analyze product performance post-launch, identifying areas for improvement and optimization to enhance future expansions.
- Implement initiatives that drive efficiency and functionality aligned with market needs.
- Responsible for ensuring excellent customer experience and keeping the portfolio relevant
Who Are We Looking For
We look for people who can drive positive change, step up and show what’s next – people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice this means:
- Strong knowledge of the payments ecosystem and practical experience in market expansion strategies.
- Proven ability to operate in a complex and technological environment while balancing operational and strategic tasks.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills; able to engage with both technical and non-technical staff at all levels.
- Product management experience, preferably in the payment industry..
- Experience and proven track record to drive initiatives from concept to successful execution.
- Proficient in English (verbal and written).
- Ability to work hybrid from our Stockholm office.
