The Opportunity
Worldline is seeking a Junior Legal Counsel to join our team in the Nordics.
Legal Nordics currently consists of four legal professionals, and we are now looking to expand our team with a Junior Legal Counsel. Legal Nordics supports Worldline’s business in the Nordics from a modern office in Hammarby Kaj in Stockholm.
As a Junior Legal Counsel at Worldline, you will work with varied tasks and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment, where you will be constantly challenged. You will be given an extraordinary opportunity to grow professionally and advance your career.
As Worldline is a global business, you will collaborate with stakeholders and legal colleagues all over the world, almost daily.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Support the business by negotiating and providing legal advice.
- Legal support for ongoing projects in the Worldline Group.
- Handle corporate matters such as corporate restructuring, board meetings, and AGM’s.
- Work closely with other departments (such as credit, risk and fraud departments) in assisting them with legal matters.
- Administrative tasks related to the above.
Who Are We Looking For
People who can drive positive change, step up and show what’s next – people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice this means:
- Swedish Master of Laws/LL.M (sw juristexamen) with excellent grades.
- 0-3 years of experience.
- A keen interest in financial services (and particularly the payments sector).
- Excellent written and verbal skills in English and Swedish.
- An outstanding ability to prioritize.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage complex legal texts.
- Excellent legal and analytical skills.
- Hands on and can-do approach.
- Agile with a strong sense of ownership and leadership.
- A fast learner, eager to challenge yourself every day.
- A team player with a positive and collaborative attitude.
