The Opportunity
The Head of Airlines, Travel & Hospitality Vertical Solutions is responsible for leading the unit and vertical/verticals ensuring product-market fit, maintaining a holistic value proposition, and establishing clear and transparent prioritization within the organization, for one or more verticals.
This role will work closely with Horizontal Product Management, GTM teams, and other stakeholders to align priorities, develop product solutions, and communicate roadmaps.
The Head of Travel, Hospitality & Foodservices Vertical Solutions will also support GTM’s on sales trainings, competitor insights, events, demos, customer meetings, and RFx.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Identify and communicate product offering gaps arising from changing market needs, customers, and setting priorities into Core Product Areas to maximize value proposition
- Maintain a holistic overview of available capabilities and market demands to define specific requirements for the strategic development of the value proposition
- Establish communication and prioritization frameworks to perform recurring prioritizations in line with the product strategy and market needs
- Lead DMB items originating from GTM's business needs, stage gate 0
- Align on priorities with SMB and, where applicable, with DC vertical and provide and align coherent roadmap priorities and needs with Horizontal Product Management
- Act as a filter between GTM-unit and CPO, and between Horizontal Product and GTM based on vertical priorities
- Participate in value-streams as applicable and set product solution vision for verticals with a long-term ambition aligned with products today and tomorrow, new technology, strategy, vertical development, competition, and merchant experience E2E
- Align vision with vertical GTM-teams to ensure consensus on product lead company approach
- Ensure alignment within impacted horizontal product areas (IPP/ISP, Online, ACQ, Shared Services, etc.) for a coherent vertical solution "play"
- Own and manage product solution portfolio for verticals in terms of vertical solutions structure and content, focus products within the solution, solution component lifecycle management, "what-to-sell-where", operate solution and product demos, E2E vertical solution insights, and business value KPIs
- Align on priorities and roadmap with GTM’s with a mindset of "less is more" and "scalability and repeatability in everything we do" with an overall product lead company approach mindset
- Communicate vertical product roadmap within GTM’s with support from Horizontal Product Management PMs
- Provide vertical "solution packages" to GTM-team with support from Product Marketing.
- Validate end-to-end processes, pricing, and tools with GTM-team and Product Marketing to ensure products are Ready-for-Sales and Ready-for-Delivery
- Support GTM on sales trainings, competitor insights, events, demos, customer meetings, and RFx
Who Are We Looking For

- Proven experience in product management, vertical solutions, Solution / Product Marketing or a similar role
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and customer needs
- Preferably experience from a commercial role, such as sales or sales management
- Preferably experience from leading complex projects
- Previous management and team leading experience
- Practical knowlededge of the MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as being efficient with Monday.com and Canva
- Fluent English language skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to understand technological items and payment architecture
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
