As an Accounting Director you will cover an entire business line; you will work in an international organization, follow the business in several markets, countries and entities. You are leader of the team and manage professional managers. The director’s role is to ensure top notch lever of internal control with their team and help them to improve their methods. In this role you are also a peaking partner of the CFO and of Group Finance Operations; shape the structure of the team (27 direct and indirect reports), take part of day to day conversations and decision with operations. Compliance duties over four Nordic countries, you are involved in all things related to filing for taxes or financial statements in each country. Solid knowledge in VAT and transfer pricing is required. The position is based in Stockholm, Sweden (possibility to relocate there) and you will work in Swedish as well as in English.

Your day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Ensure integrity and truthfulness of the books in your scope
  • Be responsible for accounting compliance for the company (annual reports, tax compliance) and the Group
  • Manage a team of strong managers and accounting specialists
  • Support external reporting such as statutory audit
  • Ensure continuous excellent internal control in your scope. This goes with proper documentation and process descriptions, regular controls, ability to spot gaps and propose solutions.
  • Monthly closing: your responsibility covers R2R (payroll, capitalized RD, intercompany, reporting), as well as coordinating all other streams of the closing.
  • You ensure compliance with the law and company’s policies

Appetite for change management is welcome.



Skills we can't do without:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other relevant university studies
  • 10+ years of experience in the international group and leading a team is a must
  • You have a strong experience in working in a matrix structure
  • You possess an analytical mind and you comfortable with numbers
  • Proven negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English (written and spoken)
