The opportunity
You are a highly skilled Business Development Manager preferably with sector expertise in the Airlines & Travel industry. In this position, you will be a key individual contributor within our vertical. You will be responsible for creating and executing your own go-to-market strategy with the objective to sign up new global enterprise merchants.

You play the role of trusted advisor and you’re responsible for our clients’ success using the Worldline platform and tech stack.
The Business Development Manager is a crucial position that affects every level of the organization. You will be on the front lines of the business. You own the success of both our clients and our organization. Travel in this role can be up to 50%.
Day-to-day responsibilities
- You represent Worldline’s full portfolio of brands
- Identify and approach prospective Enterprise customers in the Airlines & Travel space
- Generate new business, negotiate complex deals and close contracts
- Build long-term relationships
- Collaborate across different functions/departments to ensure a consistent and high level of service
- Manage full sales cycle
- You boost all commercial activities including contract renewals, pricing negotiations and delivering against revenue targets
- Your data-driven and use data analysis to identify areas where we can drive client revenue growth
Signs of success:
- Developing a diversified opportunity pipeline with ABM targets
- Generating revenue in line with your individual targets
- Disciplined and methodical approach towards sales process and CRM (Salesforce)
- You’ve developed trusted partnerships with global merchants and build long-term relationships at a senior level to ensure we are the key payment processor for their online business
- You are the go-to for our customers to navigate through our company. You’re not alone in this, and work together with co-workers in the assembled account team consisting of Operational and Administrative people
- You deliver the best solution after evaluating alternative methods and explores the adaptation of policies, procedures, standards, techniques, materials, and equipment
- You possess deep knowledge about our client organizations and how effective decisions are made
Who are we looking for
Skills we can't do without:
- You have 4+ years of experience in business-to-business sales
- Strong commercial drive and eCommerce/Fintech market knowledge
- Skilled negotiator with best-in-class communication and presentation skills
- Deep interest in team building and collaboration
- An abiding interest in the Fintech space
- You thrive in a dynamic, multi-faceted environment
Skills we'd like to have:
- You can analyse data combine with in-market understanding and develop and communicate results, ideas, and strategies.
- You can lead your own personal travel schedule and T&E budget.
- You master the Microsoft Office pack.
- Commercial experience in payments, FinTech, or e-commerce
- Knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM tool
