The Opportunity

 

You are responsible for strategic initiatives to change our complex service portfolio and underlying infrastructure needed to run the services of Account Payments across all product areas. As Senior Program Manager, you are leading multi-location teams, involving subject matter experts of Account Payments as well as from other units of Worldline to guaranty a professional project execution, with special focus on our client onboarding perimeter. Maintaining both stability of the daily business and driving future optimizations are the key focus areas. The position asks for a professional project expert, acknowledging the criticality of the business for the customer.

The bandwidth of the needs skillset covers the entire payments sector as well as solid managerial skills for managing larger program initiatives with various stakeholders and suppliers, as well as direct client contact.

 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities​

 

Main responsibility is to manage initiatives to onboard new clients and to drive strategic changes inside the Account Payments division in all serviced geographies. Tasks and responsibilities are:

 

  • You conduct holistic and autonomous large projects/programs and their sub-projects to further develop our payment transactions processes and applications (internal initiatives and client projects in the payments area).
  • You define scope, budget and delivery planning for your initiatives, initiate and manage them by involving all needed stakeholders and delivery units.
  • You supervise the performance and service quality delivered for the initiates in scope.
  • You maintain close cooperation within Account Payments division to further improve services delivery for our clients.
  • You keep close cooperation with supplier management for the providers in scope to safeguard external service delivery to WL.
  • You focus on continuously detecting of weak points in our service delivery and working out possible measures to improve it in collaboration with transversal teams across WL.
  • You identify opportunities for optimizations in the service delivery for the client and drive those initiatives to increase the value for the client.
  • You are responsible for the budget planning and controlling for the relevant scope.
  • You support BID processes and contribute in pre-sales activities.
  • You coordinate the collaboration of your initiative with the group functions in the company (Finance, HR, Legal, Risk Management or Internal Audit).
  • You ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and group policies within scope, both internal and external to WL (client side)
  • You manage and support cross-functional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

 

 

Who Are We Looking For

  • You have a master’s degree in business administration, economics, or computer science and at least 10 years of work experience - leadership experience is required
  • You have at least 5 years experience in steering projects in a professional environment, practical experience in management consulting for financial institutions is advantageous
  • You have proven your ability to work in a complex business environment as vital part of the value chain of clients in the financial industry
  • You have a good understanding of technical contexts
  • You have organizational talent, high own initiative, high conflict ability and analytical skills
  • You can act professionally in a demanding client relationship (relationship building skills)
  • You have fluent English and German language skills, both written and spoken, and present yourself securely to clients.
  • You have the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
