Role Overview
As an experienced person developer, you will be responsible for delivering monthly MIS and group reporting, FX & Treasury management, Financial & Cash Flow, Group presentation and variance analysis, monthly billing and collection review, overview of supplier payments, People cost evolution, response of query from the customer/group. You will take ownership in arranging GST refund related documents from the Bank.
You will also facilitate knowledge sharing within the team, adapt plans to meet sprint goals, and effectively communicate changes and impacts to stakeholders. Your proactive approach and commitment to excellence will drive continuous improvement within the team and contribute to the overall success of the finance department.
Who Are We Looking For:
Chartered Accountant passionate in shaping the GCC Finance Function
- Experience:
- 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in Finance function.
- Working knowledge of SAP
- Key Skills:
- Capable of managing Banking & Treasury including FX Management
- Understanding of monthly closing of books of accounts in SAP
- Ability to analyze variances - Actual vs. Budget and Forecast
- Proficiency in Financial preparation for Annual Audit
- Knowledge of IFRS & IndAS
- Familiar with Budget preparation and coordination with various Department
- Relevant experience in revenue accounting & overdue management
- In-depth knowledge of Revenue & Cost MIS preparation.
- Strong understanding of GL accounting & Group reporting.
- Familiarity with the Treasury related activity like Fund Management, Hedging, Issuing Bank Guarantee, Import payout , collection against export, Cash landing & Group reporting.
- Comprehensive understanding of Budget & Outlook preparation.
- Knowledge of preparation of Financial Statements as per local accounting.
- Experience in handling Internal, Statutory & Transfer pricing Audit.
- Knowledge of local Transfer Pricing requirements.
- Familiarity with local direct & indirect tax implication & requirement
- Soft Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Highly initiative-taking and solution-oriented approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurate provisioning of expenses at month end
- Ensure closure of books of accounts and reporting as per group timelines
- Prepare & Present Group Closing Call and MANCOM presentation to local management
- Annual Budget preparation and presentation
- Timely & Accurate reporting of monthly fund position to Group treasury
- Work with group Treasury for FX hedging and reporting
- Ensure monthly billing to customers and revenue accounting
- Overdue collection and proactively close reconciliation issues with customers
- Oversee supplier payments and reconciliation
- Ensure STP registration and compliance
- Get internal audit report closure via actively participating with their team
- Annual financial preparation and audit in a timely manner without any qualification
- Own and manage the team effectively
- Provide details for Income Tax or GST related assessment or queries received
- Attend LIC meeting and share finance inputs and updates
- Leading & guiding team to ensure invoices are processed before monthly deadlines, backup documentation is validated, revenue is accounted as per company policy.
- Managing & validating cost provisioning details received from users along with backup details.
- Prepare Cost MIS and Revenue Reconciliation for preparation of monthly Profit & Loss account.
- Analyzing monthly performance vs budget vs last year vs forecast.
- Preparation of various PPT’s & reports as per requirement from management or group.
- Ensuring that various monthly group reporting activities are completed within deadlines as per group policy.
- Coordinate & Manage Group counter part queries.
- Review & manage banking & funds management activity such as fixed deposits, BG approval & issuance, FX hedging , import payments, inward remittances, cash landing & reporting.
- Preparation of financial statements and coordination with auditors for audit closure.
- Review of Annual reports, Director's report & financial statements in various format.
- Compilation of data for Transfer pricing & co-ordination with TP auditors.
- Preparation & presentation of Budget to management.
- Preparation of Long-Run Plans (LRP), projected financials, etc. as per requirements.
