The Opportunity
We manage various market facing services and applications within Issuing, such as standardized Issuing Gui's for various backend services, cardholder and business portals with front- and backend responsibilities, SMS and notification services and many more. You will work with our scrum team members and clients to design, run and maintain these payment systems of the future. These services are characterized by high quality and availability, combined with innovation.
This position offers a high level of creative freedom and challenges in planning and implementation, as well as ongoing application management. In this process, you will learn many disciplines of system development, allowing you to grow as an expert.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Support and coach Scrum Team(s) to work in a self-organized & agile way.
- Promote and support Scrum throughout the whole organization.
- Help everyone understand Scrum theory, practices, rules, and values.
- Facilitate different Scrum events and the work to be executed in each scrum team.
- Coach the scrum team members in a motivating approach to understand the Scrum Values and Principles.
- Trigger the continuous improvement of the Scrum Team, processes, and product.
- Onboard and train newcomers to the Scrum framework.
- Change Management
- Work with the Scrum Team, internal and external stakeholders, to help the team improve its own self-organizing capabilities and become more cross-functional.
- Contribute to the advancement and improvement of Scrum practices within the organization.
- Help the Scrum Team to remove impediments.
- Work closely together with the Product Owner to ensure the Product Backlog is constantly up-todate, ordered and clear.
- Support the team in the planned experiments and help in the application of empiricism.
- Ensure that all Scrum events take place and are positive, productive, and kept within the time box.
- Help the Scrum Team focus on creating high-value Increments that meet the Definition of Done.
- Help the team identify and monitor outcomes, for instance by using Objectives and Key Results.
- Internal Cooperation
- Facilitate discussion, decision making and conflict resolution.
- Collaborate with the other Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches to improve the effectiveness of the use of Scrum within the organization
Who Are We Looking For
We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change, step up and show what’s next – people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice this means:
- Mid to High level experience in the Srum Master role
- Best to have: Experience with teams switching to Scrum from traditional model
- Good to have: Experience in Finance industry and in IT services and software development
- Good working experience in a complex and international environment.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams to achieve a common goal and in dynamic situations with tight and rigid deadlines.
- A structured and analytical work approach with strong presentation skills.
- Strong team player with the ability to listen and communicate equally with all stakeholders and team members.
- Good level of technical background and strong capability of common tools (e.g. Jira). Knowledge about front- and back-end technologies such as Angular and Java is a plus.
- Experience with Cloud Environments and/or Cloud-based Applications is a plus.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory, and German is a plus.
