The Opportunity

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Regulatory Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the monitoring and implementing regulatory requirements related to payment services. This role involves developing and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of applicable regulations and ensuring compliance across the organization.

 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

 

  • Identification, acceptance, planning, and execution of ex-ante and ex-post Regulatory domain’s controls to mitigate residual risks in line with the expected levels for the risk of non-compliance with regulations.
  • Execution and coordination of Compliance Risk Assessment activities regarding the regulatory areas overseen.
  • Execution and coordination of reporting activities to ensure the production of reports related to Compliance (Regulators, Operational, and Group, Governing Bodies).
  • Monitor the status of updates to the internal regulatory and control framework relevant to compliance.
  • Monitor the SLA’s of the outsourced services (if any)
  • Coordinate PMO activities related to cross-functional Compliance projects
  • Act as the entry point for Compliance issues in Internal and Group Committees (e.g., COPAT, MRCC, etc.)
  • Coordinate training content across various Compliance Domains.

 

 

Who Are We Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree or certification in compliance or regulatory affairs is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements applicable to the payment institutions
  • Precision in monitoring processes and data to identify discrepancies, risks, and areas for improvement.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and ensure timely completion of reporting and monitoring activities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to report findings, collaborate with teams, and present information clearly to stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across different teams and departments to ensure alignment and support for monitoring activities.
  • Familiarity with tools and software used for project management, reporting, and data analysis
  • Proficiency in English, Microsoft Office Suite, PM tool.
