The Opportunity


As a Product qualification Specialist for POS you will join our dynamic and dedicated Payments Acceptance Management team in Rome ensuring that research and qualification of our POS run smoothly.


Day-to-Day Responsibilities​


  • Conduct scouting and qualification of POS providers.
  • Conduct technical research and product qualification of POS systems.
  • Conduct software and hardware performance testing on POS prototypes.
  • Customise device requirements, according to Worldline’s clients needs
  • Perform end-to-end testing of customized POS devices.
  • Provide technical assistance to our network of installers.
  • Collaborate closely with the business to ensure that our solutions are aligned with client’s needs.
  • You will have the opportunity to attend international discussion tables on technological evolution


Who Are We Looking For

  • Background in Technical Education
  • You have Knowledge of physical POS devices or at least 3 years’ experience working with software and hardware systems comparable to Point of Sales (POS) such as cash registers, and telecommunication devices.
  • Familiarity with technical support, networking, and firewall setup is a plus.
  • Excellent team collaboration and interaction skills.
  • You are fluent in Italian and English to liaise with our international vendors
  • Motivation and passion for the payment industry
  • Generic Knowledge of EMV protocol, PCI, International and domestic scheme regulation is considered and asset
