We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Engineer to join the Technology Area of the Technology & Operations Management Department of Worldline Merchant Services Italia (WL MS Italia).

The candidate, in collaboration with other teams, will play a role in designing, implementing, and overseeing on-premises and cloud infrastructure aligned with the company's short, medium, and long-term goals.

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute the organization's cloud transformation to its success in the digital era. The candidate will be part of a dynamic team, collaborating with diverse departments and stakeholders to shape the future of our cloud-based IT services.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities​       

As an IT Infrastructure Engineer at WL MS Italia, you'll work alongside various technological and business areas, contributing to the management of IT infrastructures related to Acquiring. This includes involvement in both project-based initiatives and ongoing operational tasks.

You ensure:

• On prem: Be part of develop and execute of comprehensive strategy that supports the organization's business objectives. Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify all the opportunities and determine the most suitable solutions.

• Cloud: Be part of develop and execute a comprehensive strategy that supports the organization's business objectives. Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify all the opportunities and determine the most suitable solutions in cloud.

• Cloud Migration and Integration: Be part of the migration of existing applications, workloads, and data to the cloud. Ensure seamless integration with on-premises systems and establish effective data transfer mechanisms.

• Security and Compliance: Be involved on the implementation of robust security measures to protect cloud assets and data from potential threats.

Who Are We Looking For

• Experience in Cloud and on Prem environments.

• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or others

• Knowledge of on prem platforms such as VMWare, or others

• Knowledge of Networking, storage and database technologies.

• Understanding of Terraform and related concepts.

• Understanding of cloud architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.

• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
