The opportunity

 

Are you at the beginning of your career and looking for an opportunity where you can learn, grow and build valuable expertise in payments and financial operations? We are looking for an organized, enthusiastic and process-driven Reconciliation Specialist to join our Customer Processing Center. 

 

You will become part of a diverse team of 24 colleagues, working within our dedicated Reconciliation Team of 8 specialists. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is recently graduated or at the start of their professional career and wants to develop within a dynamic, international payments environment. Minimum or no previous experience in reconciliation or the payments industry is required. We will provide you with the training, guidance and hands-on experience you need to gradually build your knowledge, confidence and independence.

 

Day-to-day responsibilities

 

As a Reconciliation Specialist, you will play an important role in ensuring that our financial transactions are accurate, complete and reconciled on time. Working closely with your colleagues, you will learn how to: 

 

  • Retrieve, process and reconcile bank statements covering payments, refunds, chargebacks, transfers and costs. 

  • Identify and investigate unmatched transactions and other reconciliation exceptions. 

  • Work with banking platforms, internal systems and Salesforce. 

  • Contact banks and internal stakeholders when additional information is required. 

  • Ensure activities are completed according to our internal SLAs and quality standards. 

  • Generate operational reports that support our daily reconciliation activities. 

  • Support monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual activities. Such as: Month End Closures reconcilations. 

  • Collaborate closely with other operational teams, including Remittance and Chargeback Resolution Teams. 

  • Communicate findings clearly to colleagues, management and internal stakeholders. 

  • Actively participate in daily stand-ups and contribute to the team's success.
