The Opportunity

We seek an experienced Python Developer to join our dynamic team in Debit Issuing Tribe. You will be in charge of developing Python modules in collaboration with colleagues in different countries and in responsible for support and drive analysis, and solution of new requirement & production issues.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities​

• Design and optimise scalable backend services to process high-volume card payment transactions 
• Development and maintenance of Python modules for data processing and reporting 
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and conduct code reviews within the development team 
• Debug and troubleshoot data issues reported by users or identified during maintenance cycles 
• Participate in agile development processes and contribute to continuous improvement of the fraud detection system 

Who Are We Looking For

We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change, step up and show what’s next – people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice this means:

• Degree in software engineering or equivalent, with 4+ years of experience developing complex Python modules.
• Excellent Python and SQL/PL-SQL skills, with strong knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, Postgres).
• Experience designing high-volume, low-latency, mission-critical applications with high availability and performance.
• Skilled in Linux environments, production issue analysis, and working with full technical stacks.
• Strong analytical abilities, high motivation, and effective collaboration in international, distributed teams.
• Experience with cloud database technologies (e.g., BigQuery), fraud detection systems, and DevOps/Agile practices.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory.
