The Opportunity

Axis is a 10Bn transactions processing platform in 2024 complying with all international and European standards ins security, data protection and Business continuity.

The AXIS platform is hosted in a private hybrid cloud and operated in an infrastructure as a code and as a service, sharing roles and responsibilities with the Worldline Group Hybrid Cloud providers Worldline Merchant Services Shared Services, Worldline Merchant Services In person payment R&D and other Worldline Group internal service provider to AXIS.

 

 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities​

The role of a Pre-Production Manager focuses on thorough planning, testing, and coordination to ensure that software and systems are fully prepared for a successful production launch. The goal is to minimize risks, enhance quality, and ensure a smooth transition to the production environment.

 

  • Project Management: define the project's objectives, deliverables, and requirements to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Team Coordination: organize and assign roles and responsibilities among developers, testers, system administrators, and other stakeholders.
  • Resource Management: ensure the availability and proper configuration of all necessary resources, including hardware, software, and tools, prior to production.
  • Requirements Documentation: gather and document functional and technical requirements from stakeholders and end-users to inform the development process.
  • Release Management Strategy: develop comprehensive deployment plans, including rollback strategies, to facilitate a seamless transition to production.
  • Change Management: manage changes to project scope, ensuring proper version control and keeping stakeholders updated on changes and their implications.
  • Cross-Functional Communication: facilitate effective communication among development, operations (DevOps), and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and informed decision-making.

 

Who Are We Looking For

Education and Experience:

  • Master 2 in Production Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role, with demonstrated leadership in managing teams and complex projects.

Skills:

  • Expertise in Operations and Leadership: strong understanding of workflows and technical requirements, combined with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, allowing for effective team leadership and engagement with IT senior management.
  • Communication and Collaboration: effective communicator with proficiency in project management and collaboration tools, capable of translating technical concepts into non-technical terms for diverse audiences.
  • Results-Driven: proven track record of delivering tangible results, emphasizing a team-oriented mindset and the ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams and vendors.
