Job Profile: Test Strategy Manager/Test Automation Manager - WLP FO Core Development
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Test Strategy Manager/Test Automation Manager to lead test automation efforts for WLP FO (Worldline Pay Front Office) core development. This role combines strategic test planning with hands-on automation management, overseeing and guiding a team of three test automation engineers responsible for creating comprehensive automated test cases using the ONE Test Suite (OTS), a new, in-house build test automation suite utilizing and enhancing Robot Framework.
Key Responsibilities
Test Strategy Implementation
- Introduce, implement and monitor the new test strategy for WLP FO Core
- Establish test coverage aligned with risk-based testing methodologies
- Ensure adherence to PCI SSF/DSS compliance requirements and card scheme mandates (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, Diners, AMEX, UPI)
Team Leadership & Supervision
- Manage and mentor a team of three + test automation engineers
- Assign test case development tasks and track progress
- Conduct (code) reviews for test automation scripts
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
- Ensure team compliance with testing best practices and standards
Test Automation Design & Implementation
- Oversee design and development of automated test cases using ONE Test Suite (OTS)
- Design test procedures and flows covering WLP FO core functionalities and interfaces
Quality Assurance & Metrics
- Define and monitor test quality metrics and KPIs
- Establish baseline and track test coverage improvements
- Generate test reports and provide management updates
- Ensure test traceability and documentation
Required Qualifications
Experience & Skills
- 5+ years in test automation management or test management roles
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks
- Proven experience leading test automation teams (minimum 2-3 engineers)
- Strong understanding of risk-based testing methodologies
- Knowledge of keyword-driven testing approaches
Technical Knowledge
- Understanding of payment processing systems and transaction flows (beneficial)
- Familiarity with PCI SSF/DSS compliance and security testing requirements
- Knowledge of multiple protocol implementations (ISO 8583, XML, JSON, NLV, TLV)
- Experience with test data management tools and repositories
- Scripting/programming capability (Python, Java, or similar) for test automation

- ISTQB certification or similar test management credentials (beneficial)
- Experience with test automation in complex, distributed systems
- Knowledge of cryptography and security testing
