The Opportunity

Within an important international SAP competence center, a true internal expertise center, we are seeking an experienced Senior SAP MM Consultant to join our team. As a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expertise and guidance in the area of SAP Materials Management (MM) module. You will work closely with our internal clients to analyze their business requirements, design and implement solutions, and provide ongoing support and maintenance.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities​

• Conduct requirements gathering sessions with clients to understand their business processes and identify opportunities for improvement within the SAP MM module.
• Design and configure MM module functionalities, including procurement, inventory management, material valuation, purchasing, and vendor management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate MM with other SAP modules, such as Finance (FI), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Logistics (LE).
• Lead or participate in system testing activities, including preparing test scenarios, executing tests, and resolving defects.
• Provide end-user training and support to ensure successful adoption and utilization of the SAP MM system.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and functional issues by analyzing system logs, debugging programs, and applying SAP notes.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP MM trends and technologies and provide recommendations for system enhancements or process improvements.
• Lead or contribute to the implementation of SAP MM best practices, standards, and methodologies.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior consultants on the team.

Who Are We Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience as an SAP MM Consultant, with a deep understanding of procurement, inventory management processes and strong knowledge of integration points between MM and other SAP modules, such as FI, SD, and LE.
• Extensive hands-on experience in configuring and customizing SAP MM module functionalities.
• Experience with SAP implementation lifecycles, including requirements gathering, design, testing, and post-go-live support.
• Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into SAP MM system solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, cross-functional and technical teams.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• SAP Certification in Materials Management (MM) is preferred.
