The Opportunity

If you are a highly skilled Product Owner who will produce scalable software solutions in the Payments Domain. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.

Role Overview
In this strategic role, you will be responsible for shaping and driving the product vision for our acquiring solutions, working closely with the Chief Product Officer and cross-functional teams. This position offers the opportunity to have a direct impact on the evolution of our payment products while working with cutting-edge technology.

In practice this means:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 9+ years of overall experience, with at least 3+ years of experience specifically as a Product Owner, preferably in the payments or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of payment systems, specifically in Acquiring, and the acquiring business.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and frameworks, such as Scrum, SAFe, or LeSS.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to listen and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and C-level stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a structured and analytical working style.
- Experience in writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria, complemented by a data-driven decision-making mindset.
- Strong prioritization and negotiation skills, along with a T-shaped mindset: deep expertise in product management combined with broad knowledge of technology and business domains.
- Ability to work in dynamic situations with short timelines and strict deadlines.
- Enthusiastic about working in an international, scaled agile team of experts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of the product.
- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring its alignment with business strategy and customer needs.
- Define and prioritize product features and requirements for payment solutions, including epics, features, and user stories.
- Work closely with stakeholders, including Chief Product Owner, product management, and software architecture, to gather requirements and translate business needs into user stories.
- Collaborate with the CPO on product strategy and roadmap development.
- Drive product planning, sprint planning, and backlog refinement sessions, supporting the Agile team with story estimates and sequencing.
- Ensure proper implementation of features by collaborating with development teams and participating in team demos and retrospectives.
- Monitor product KPIs and make data-driven decisions to ensure successful product outcomes.
- Act as the primary point of contact for queries related to the specific instance of the product, managing stakeholders and their expectations.
- Assure the conceptual and technical integrity of the product features is maintained at all times and assist in training and educating team members.
- Acquire and maintain a solid knowledge of the technologies used for product development, including cloud services and DevOps practices, while keeping an overview of related activities and identifying dependencies.
