Testing Generalist - Front Office

The Worldline Test Competence Center (TCC) is an entity offering testing services to internal clients of Worldline, solution provider in the realm of electronic payment.

Within TCC you will ensure the quality of new functionalities in applications, by following different possible test methodologies and by using state-of-the-art test tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Read, analyze and review all the project documents
  • Interpret technical specifications and protocols
  • Create  test-scripts
  • Execute the test scenarios and analyze test results
  • Ensure the quality of applications
  • Undertake the close follow-up of the correction of the defects
  • Closely collaborate with development teams, sometimes in an international context
  • Participates in document and peer reviews
  • Provides opportune progress status reports to Manager and counterpart
  • Assists the Test Manager with test closure reports and gaining sign off from key stakeholders.
  • Responsible of the risk and issue identification and reporting to Test Lead within his/her scope of responsibility, ensuring all risks and issues are documented with the corresponding mitigations and corrective actions.
  • Takes responsibility on being persistent in the achievement of assigned goals, maintaining focus during stressful periods or when deadlines are short and acts as a role model.

 

Competences:

  • Good experience in Manual testing (mandatory)
  • Writing and executing test cases in Robot Framework in Python
  • Basic experience in programming is mandatory with willingness and ability to scaleup in robot framework and Python
  • Knowledge of Unix/Linux
  • Knowledge of SQL and Oracle
  • Payment domain experience
  • ISTQB Certified
  • Knowledge of Iliad t3 is a plus
  • Knowledge of HP ALM and Jira is a plus

  • Higher education in information technology and/or experience of 2-3 years in software development and testing
  • Outstanding creativity and innovation skills
  • Analysis and integration skills
  • Autonomy and ability to learn and adapt
  • Good communication skills (spoken and written)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Perseverance and ability to cooperate – team work
