The Opportunity
Worldline is looking for a Linux System Engineer to join our competence centre that will support our MS Production Centres Merchant and acquiring services, issuing, digital services, and account payments in their Linux server environment. As a member of the infrastructure team, you will be strongly involved in maintaining the Linux server landscape and keep the security on a high level.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Operation, patch management, and monitoring of the Linux server environment.
• Knowledge of deployment automation and configuration management using Puppet and Foreman.
• Collaborate with engineering and security teams to coordinate on IT policies.
• Linux Server Hardening for PCI compliance.
• Monitoring the landscape with Prometheus and Icinga2.

Who Are We Looking For
We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change, step up and show what’s next – people with passion, can-do attitude, and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice this means:

• Master or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Electronics, or Industrial Engineering.

• Exp looking for 6 to 10 Years
• Good knowledge and experience with alerting and monitoring tools like Icinga, Grafana, PagerDuty, Prometheus, or others.

• Broad understanding of various technologies including development and scripting tools like Unix shell and Python, RedHat Linux, and Oracle databases.
• Knowledge of networking and security principles (TLS, DNS, firewalls, HTTP, etc.).
• Experience in IT and application support within a large company and complex sector (e.g., payments or other digital industries).
• Fluency in English and deep knowledge in RedHat Linux.
• Team-minded with strong analytical skills and ability to work autonomously.
